Title: Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator

Purpose Statement and Overview:
The Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Coordinator leads M&E efforts in the country to ensure timely and high quality data collection, compilation, analysis and reporting. The position will support the vital task of maintaining updated, organized, and quality program and project information and data to share with GB’s varying internal and external stakeholders both locally and internationally.
The Monitoring & Evaluation Associate reports directly to the Executive Director of GB Panama and Director of Impact & Evaluation.
Responsibilities:
The M&E Coordinator is responsible for ensuring collection, input, analysis, and reporting of community, program and project data. Additionally, the position will support in providing content for communication with donors, collaborators, and volunteers. The M&E Coordinator works directly alongside the international M&E team, in-country leadership, program managers, technicians, and the leadership team within Global Brigades internationally to accomplish this as well as other duties as assigned. The position focuses on 4 principal areas:
Monitoring & Evaluation Development & International Collaboration
Collaborate with M&E and Programming Teams in the development and modification of M&E methodologies and tools
Serve as the primary point of contact for M&E and impact data in Panama
Participate in regular virtual meetings, and travel for conferences with GB’s international M&E team
Collaborate daily with Panama M&E Associate
Data Collection & Input
Coordinate all M&E data collection activities in the field (needs assessments, surveys, household coding, etc.)
Participate in M&E database management, modification, troubleshooting and data input.
Support M&E related volunteer participation/experiences in country, including research proposals and projects.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Develop and implement data reporting procedures to meet needs of stakeholders.
Collaborate in the reporting of data and creation of content for Annual Reports, Newsletters, social media, and other external audiences as requested by teams.
Support donor, partner and volunteer relationships through program, project, and impact reporting.
Programming Team Support
Ensure that programming teams meet timing and quality expectations for collecting and inputting data.
Support programming teams with data analysis, database management, program evaluation, and impact reporting.
Ensure that all partner community information is up to date and accurate, support with community selection & measuring progress and impact of The Empowered 100.
Build capacity of Programming Teams in M&E methodologies (training, supporting documents)
Qualifications:
Proven experience in international/community development, monitoring & evaluation, or a related field.
Strong passion and ability to communicate impact through data and reporting
Advanced English Language proficiency
Willing and able to travel between Global Brigades program countries as necessary or as assigned
